Establishment of the Tshwane Brains United Football Club

On February 1, 2025, at the Bagale Primary School (Lotus Gardens), the executives of Real Jabulani FC, Blackburn Rovers FC, and Strides FC met to discuss a possible merger to form one united football club.

After much deliberation, the executives agreed to form a broader youth development organization that would operate multiple sporting codes. Soccer will be the first undertaking. As such, they agreed that the broad organization would be called Tshwane Brains Youth Development.

With soccer being the first establishment of this organization, it will become one of the entities thereof. It will operate/trade as Tshwane Brains United Football Club. This entity will enter the football space within the Phelindaba Local Football Association as a new entrant having been formed through the amalgamation of different clubs. As such, the Admission Letter detailing this amalgamation will be sent to the association for consideration during its next Congress.

Tshwane Brains Youth Development will register as a Non-Profit Company. It will properly structure itself as a company with members, directors, and management. It will seek to dominate the development space by ensuring alignment with the resource markets (players, coaches, administrators, and leaders) first in Tshwane, to the province, and then to the rest of the Country. The overall success indicators will lie primarily in the transcendence layer.

The establishment initiative is still underway. Strategies are still to be fined grain detailed. However, football operations will immediately take the shape of the new club as the Real Jabulani FC, Blackburn Rovers FC, and Strides FC brands will be shelved.
